The 15th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition 2023

The 11th World Wing Chun Quan Competition Regulation

1.  Competition events:

(1) Wing Chun taolu series:

       Different lineages of fist forms: Siu Lim Tau, Charm Kiu, Biu Zhi.

Different lineages of weapon: Pat Charm Dou, Six point Half Pole

(2) Wing Chun Chi Sao

(3) Wing Chun Free fighting

(4) Competition items no. (See Appendix 1)

2.  Methods of registration:

(1) Every team is allowed to register for 1 leader and 1 coach. The athlete can be male or female, no. of competitors unlimited.

(2) Register items rules

i Taolu items: Every competitor is allowed to register fist forms and weapon forms.

ii Wing Chun Chi Sao item: Every competitor is allowed to register.

iii Freefighting individual item: Every competitor is allowed to register.

(3) The athletes who participate in the confrontation wrestling event are required to provide the inspection certificate of physical examination and brain wave examination that conduct in hospital, at or above the county level in half a month, otherwise they cannot take part in the competition.

3. Details of Regulations:

(1) The competition type is individual events, group events, individual all-around event and Overall Group championship

(2) The rules and regulations that used in this competition are based on “The traditional competition regulation”, formulated by the Wushu Administrative Center of General Administration Sport; and all additional rules of information will be included in this regulation.

(3)  Competition age and weight groups: Refer to the 15th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition Rules.

(4)  Time limitation of Chi Sao and Free fighting items: Refer to the 15th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition Rules

(5) Quanshu weapon taolu events: Refer to the 15th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition Rules

(6) All kinds of items competition: Refer to the 15th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition Rules

(7) Competitors’ wear, weapons and protective gear should be self-prepared.
