VII. Competition Items: (see Annex 1 for details)
(1) Martial arts routines (including boxing, single and double practice of weapons, sparring, group projects, Wing Chun system, etc.);
(2) Techniques for disassembly projects (including sanda, pushing hands, pushing horse, short weapon fighting, long weapon fighting, etc., as well as taekwondo, karate, judo, kendo, staff fighting and other two-person silent cooperation techniques);
(3) martial arts techniques (including soft and hard single techniques that can be displayed);
(4) Combat sports (including martial arts sanda, mixed combat, light armed fighting, tai Chi push hands, taekwondo competition, Wing Chun black hand combat, modern hand combat-Chinese wrestling, etc.)
(5) Taekwondo (patterns, competition)
(6) Fitness exercises and martial dances (including health-preserving dances, health-preserving exercises, fitness exercises, fitness balls, fitness dance groups, Tai Chi soft ball, etc.);

VIII. Participation:
(1) All national and regional martial arts associations, kung fu groups, Wing Chun martial arts clubs, taekwondo clubs, qigong organizations, colleges and universities, martial arts schools, elderly associations, youth activity centers, fitness clubs, primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, towns, streets, communities and martial arts enthusiasts can form teams or participate individually.
(2) Each team may register one team leader and one coach, and the number of male and female athletes is unlimited. Teams with more than 15 athletes may register one team referee.
(3) There is no limit to the number of projects each contestant can participate in (all projects in the project classification table in Annex 1 can be selected).
(4) The number of participants in a group project shall be at least 5 (inclusive).
(5) Individual martial arts event: The contestant must report three martial arts items (including only single practice, except for all other items), which are considered as individual martial arts event. The three items must include both unarmed and weapon items.
(6) All-around martial arts team: 10 individual all-rounders (regardless of gender) must be reported in the team to calculate the all-around martial arts team.
(7) Team total score: the total score of the team is calculated by adding up the number of top three places and the number of participants in all individual and team events.
(8) The age and health status of athletes shall be reviewed by each team themselves, confirmed by stamping the roster or signing it. If an athletes age is found to be inaccurate, their eligibility for competition will be revoked. Any injuries or illnesses that occur during the competition due to health issues will be the responsibility of the individual or the team, with all related expenses borne by themselves. Athletes are advised to arrange their own "Personal Accident Insurance."
(9) All participants must sign the Safety Responsibility Declaration (Annex 6), and those who do not sign cannot participate.
(10) The participants in combat sports shall provide a certificate of physical examination from a hospital or health center within half a month, otherwise they shall not be allowed to play in the game.
(11) The team may apply for the opening ceremony performance project. When applying, the video recording shall be submitted for examination and confirmation. The opening ceremony performance will set up special performance gold cup award, silver cup award and bronze cup award.
(Twelve) The competition sets up the "Global Development Contribution Award for Martial Arts," which recognizes organizations or individuals who have made special contributions by promoting and organizing events with 30,50, and 80 or more participants in this edition of the competition. First, second, and third prizes will be awarded, along with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates. Organizations or individuals who organize events with over 100 participants will receive a Special Contribution Award, with double the prize money. Individuals are counted based on the same contact person at the time of registration.
(13) Participants may be shortlisted for the Wu Tan Child Award, Wu Tan Elder Award, Best Team, Best Leader, Best Coach, Best Athlete, Best Referee, Moral Style Award and other awards. The selection method will be announced separately.
(14) Chinese mainland Application methods for visiting Hong Kong
1. Participants must obtain the Hong Kong and Macao Permit (self-funded for documents and visa fees) to enter and exit Hong Kong checkpoints. Those who already hold the Hong Kong and Macao Permit must still apply for this years Hong Kong visa at the local public security bureau. A Hong Kong and Macao Permit without a visa is not valid for entry into Hong Kong. Please pay special attention to this requirement, especially the team leaders.
2. The participating team or individual can apply in the following ways (must be done in the place of residence of the individual):
(1) If the place of residence is in the "open area for free travel to Hong Kong and Macao", you can directly apply for a "private travel visa to Hong Kong" at the local Public Security Bureaus entry-exit administration office.
(2) If the place of residence is not yet an open area for free travel to Hong Kong and Macao, you can go to the local public security bureaus entry-exit administration office to directly apply for a Hong Kong and Macao pass.
(3) The earlier you apply for the Hong Kong and Macao Permit, the better. Generally, the permit is valid for one year, and you can apply for the endorsement two months before your trip to Hong Kong each year. Some regions require an invitation letter for the competition; in such cases, contact the organizing committee promptly and provide the name, gender, and date of birth of the participants. Students from martial arts schools across the country can use winter and summer breaks to apply for the Hong Kong and Macao Permit at their place of household registration with the invitation letter.
9. Competition methods:
(1) This competition is individual event, team project, martial arts individual all-around championship, martial arts team all-around championship, team total score championship, martial arts sanda championship and combat sports championship.
(2) The competition rules adopt the "Traditional Martial Arts Competition Rules" and the "Sanda Competition Rules" reviewed and approved by the Wushu Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the "Fitness Qigong Exchange and Exhibition Competition Scoring Methods and Standards" reviewed and approved by the Fitness Qigong Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and relevant supplementary provisions of this regulation and the competition regulations of each sub-project.
(3) Age group of the competition:
1. Children group (group A):

(5) Routine individual all-around age group:
1. Group A: Children (born after 1 January 20 1 4)
2. Group B: Younger group (born between 200 8 and 20 1 3)
3. Group C: Younger group (born between 19 9 6 and 200 7)
4. Group D: Middle-aged group (born between 19 8 1 and 19 9 5)
5. Group E: Middle-aged group II (born between 19 6 6 and 19 80)
6. F Group: Elderly group (born before December 31,19 6 5)
(6) Age group for martial arts sanda and combat sports:
1. Children (Group G) (born after 201 4) (no gender distinction)
2. Children group (H group) (born between 20 1 1 and 201 3) (no gender distinction)
3. Junior Group (Group I) (born between 200 8 and 20 10)
4. Adult group (Group J) (born before 200 7)
(8) Weight class grouping for martial arts sanda and combat sports:
19kg below grade, 22kg grade, 24kg grade, 27Kg grade, 30Kg grade, 33Kg grade, 36Kg grade, 39Kg grade, 42Kg grade, 45Kg grade, 48Kg grade, 52Kg grade, 56Kg grade, 60Kg grade, 65Kg grade, 70Kg grade, 75Kg grade, 80Kg grade, above 80kg grade.
 
(9) Martial arts Sanda, Sanda, Tai Chi Push Hands and international hand-to-hand combat (Chinese wrestling), Wing Chun Kicking combat and other combat sports shall be divided into weight classes, genders and age groups for competitive matches.
(Ten) Technical Sparring Events: All technical sparring events are conducted in the form of silent sparring routines, where team members pair up to practice offensive and defensive techniques. The content includes Sanda, Push Hands, Push Horse, short weapon sparring, long weapon sparring, as well as modern hand-to-hand combat, karate, judo, kendo, and staff fighting. The routines must be well-arranged, structurally sound, with reasonable offensive and defensive strategies, and rich in content. There is no weight class division; participants are divided by gender and age groups, with older age groups prioritizing older participants.
(11) Techniques are evaluated in the form of scoring, with a full score of 10 points.
(12) Taekwondo competitions shall be conducted in separate groups of the same weight class, the same sex and the same age group.
(13) Time regulations for each project competition:
1. The time for any competition project to complete the routine shall not exceed 4 minutes (for Tai Chi, fitness qigong and Mulan boxing, the chief referee shall blow a whistle to indicate when 3 minutes have been performed; for competition routines, prescribed routines and traditional routines that are too long, they can be deleted and reorganized without deduction).
2. Martial arts, fighting and combat sports are decided by one round. Group G, H and I are 90 seconds per round, and Group J is 120 seconds per round.
3. Taekwondo competitive combat events are decided by one game, each lasting 90 seconds.
(14) Project music regulations:
1. Any pure music can be used for group projects.
2. No music is allowed for any other project.
(15) For the age group of team project, the group shall be determined according to the average age of the registered players (without gender).
(16) The participants must wear martial arts and various kung fu costumes to participate in the competition and performance.
(17) The participants shall provide their own clothing, competition equipment and protective equipment; the equipment for martial arts sanda and combat fighting shall be prepared by the competition.
 
10. Admission ranking:
(1) The top eight athletes in each single event (including qigong) will be selected according to different routines, age groups and genders.
(2) The top 8 athletes in each of the following categories will be selected: sparring, two-person sparring, combat sports, technical sparring, and taekwondo mixed doubles, according to the classification number of each category, age group, male, female or mixed.
(3) The first to third place medal and ranking certificate shall be awarded to each single practice, paired practice, double practice project, combat and fighting type, technique disassembly type project respectively. The fourth to eighth place certificate shall be awarded to each.
(4) For team events, group qigong fitness, taekwondo team, taekwondo dance (exercise), and taekwondo comprehensive events, the top 8 participants (regardless of gender) will be selected based on their classification numbers and age groups (calculated by average age). The first to third places will receive trophies, individual certificates, and personal medals, while the fourth to eighth places will receive individual certificates. After the eighth place, an outstanding performance award certificate will be given.
(5) The winning ranks of single practice, paired practice, double practice, technical disassembly and collective projects shall be admitted separately according to Chinese mainland, world countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan (except for martial arts individual all-around, martial arts team all-around, total team and combat sports).
(6) Individual martial arts Grand Prize: Individual martial arts does not distinguish between countries and regions, and the top six are selected by age group and gender (see paragraph 11 for the reward method).
(7) Martial Arts Individual King of Kings Award: one king of kings shall be selected from the champions of all ages and groups, regardless of country and region, and regardless of gender (see paragraph 11 for the reward method).
(8) Individual Martial Arts Award: Among the champions of all ages in each age group, one martial arts award shall be awarded regardless of country or region and gender (see paragraph 1 1 for the method of award).
(9) All-round Martial Arts Team Award: All-round martial arts team is not divided by gender, age group, country or region. The top six martial arts teams will be admitted (see paragraph 11 for the reward method).
(10) Group total points award: group total points are not divided by gender, age group and region. The top three will be admitted (see paragraph 11 for the reward method).
(11) Grand Prize of Martial Arts Sanda Championship: one champion will be awarded for each sex group and level (see paragraph 11 for the method of award).
(12) All the participants of the conference will be given souvenirs.
11. Grand Prix scoring and cash prize scheme:
(1) Martial arts individual all-around award:
1. Scoring method for individual martial arts:
(1) Method for calculating the all-around martial arts score: For each participant in the all-around grand prix, regardless of how many individual boxing and weapon events they enter, the highest scores from the top three events (which must include both boxing and weapons) are summed to calculate the all-around score. If more than three events are entered, the highest scores from three events are used. The highest scorer is crowned champion, followed by runner-up, and so on.
(2) In the event of a tie in individual all-around martial arts scores, the athlete with the most first-place finishes among the three events used to calculate the all-around score shall be ranked first; then, the athlete with the most second-place finishes shall be ranked first, and so on. If there is still a tie, the athlete with the most first-place finishes among all events (including those not counted as part of the three events) shall be ranked first; then, the athlete with the most second-place finishes shall be ranked first, and so on. If there is still a tie, the athlete with the highest score among all events (including all events) shall be ranked first; then, the athlete with the second-highest score shall be ranked first, and so on. If there is still a tie, the athlete with the most events entered (including all events) shall be ranked first. If there is still a tie, the ranking shall be determined by a draw.
2. Martial Arts All-Round Champion Awards: Regardless of nationality or region, the martial arts all-round champion is divided into six age groups: Childrens Group (A), Junior Group (B), Youth Group (C), Middle-aged Group One (D), Middle-aged Group Two (E), and Senior Group (F). Each group includes male and female all-round champions, runners-up, third-place winners, fourth place, fifth place, and sixth place winners, totaling 72 award slots for both males and females across these six age groups.
3. Individual martial arts bonus: The champions bonus is combined with the king of kings, the runner-up gets HK $1,500, the third place gets HK $800, the fourth to sixth place get HK $300 each; the first to third place will be awarded a trophy, medal and certificate of merit, the fourth to sixth place will be awarded a certificate of merit.
(2) "King of Kings" and "Wuying Award" Grand Prize:
The all-around champion of martial arts must participate in the closing ceremony performance on the evening of August 22 to compete for the "King of Kings" award and the "Wu Ying Award." The winners will be directly voted on by attendees at the banquet to determine the "King of Kings" of this competition. The organizing committee will present the 17th Hong Kong International Martial Arts Competition "King of Kings Grand Prize" on-site, with a prize money of HKD 10,000, trophy, medals, and certificate of honor; others will receive the "Wu Ying Award," with a prize money of HKD 2,500, silver medal, and certificate of honor.
(3) All-Round Martial Arts Team Award:
1. Calculation method of scores:
(1) The team all-around score is calculated as the sum of the individual all-around scores of the 10 members in a team. If there are more than 10 members, only the highest individual all-around scores of the 10 members are counted. The member with the highest score becomes the champion of the team all-around, followed by the runner-up, and so on.
(2) In case of a tie in the team all-around score, the individual with the most first place in one of the three events will be ranked first among the 10 members who calculate the team score; then, the one with the most second place will be ranked first, and so on. If there is still a tie, the representative of each team will draw lots to decide.
2. Martial arts team all-around award: There are no gender, age group or country and region restrictions for martial arts team all-around. There are 6 award-winning team spots for martial arts team all-around champion, runner-up, third place, 4th to 6th place.
3. All-round award for martial arts teams: The champion will receive HK $8,000, the runner-up HK $3,000, the third place HK $2,000, and the fourth to sixth places each HK $1,000; the first to third places will be awarded trophies, individual medals and team certificates, while the fourth to sixth places will be awarded trophies and team certificates.
4. The teams that win the top 3 in the martial arts team will be awarded prizes at the closing ceremony dinner on the evening of August 22.
(4) Group Grand Prize:
1. Group total score calculation method:
(1) The team total score is calculated based on the number of athletes participating in one team and the total points from the top three in various individual and team events (excluding the rankings in individual and team all-around martial arts). The team with the highest score is awarded the championship of the team total score, followed by the runner-up, and then the third place.
(2) Team Total Points Calculation Method: Each team member is scored at 1 point (the more participants, the higher the points). Individual event scoring method (including all solo, paired practice, and competitive demonstration events): 5 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd place, and 1 point for 3rd place; Team event scoring method: 15 points for 1st place, 9 points for 2nd place, and 3 points for 3rd place.
(3) In case of the same score in the total score of the team, the former who ranks first in the ranking of the martial arts team will be ranked first; then, the former who wins more first place will be ranked first; then, the representative of each team will draw lots to decide.
2. Group total points award: Group total points are not divided by gender, age group or region, and there are three award-winning groups with a total of three group champions, runners-up and third place.
3. Team total points award: the champion will receive HK $8,000, the runner-up will receive HK $3,000 and the third place will receive HK $2,000; the first to third place will receive a trophy and a certificate of team total points.
4. The top three teams will be awarded prizes at the closing ceremony dinner on the evening of August 22.
(5) Grand Prize of Martial Arts Sanda Championship:
A single round-robin elimination system is implemented, with one champion selected from each gender and weight class. There are four age groups: Childrens Group (Group G), Junior Group (Group H), Youth Group (Group I), and Adult Group (Group J). (The number of participants in each group and weight class is 8-15 people; the champion receives a prize of 500 yuan, those with 16-31 participants receive 1000 yuan, those with 32-63 participants receive 3000 yuan, and those with 64 or more participants receive 5000 yuan.)
XII. Related expenses:
(1) The charging standard for accommodation personnel accompanying the conference:
1. Registration fee: RMB 380 per person (including the team leader, coach, athlete and all the personnel who register for the conference).
2. Conference fee: 180 RMB per person (those who do not participate in the competition do not need to pay the conference fee).
3. Single practice and paired practice fee: RMB 380 per person for each item.
4. Collective project fee: RMB 200 per person for each item.
5. Martial arts sanda competition fee: RMB 480 per person for each item.
6. Comprehensive Accommodation and Travel Service Fee: RMB 3,880 per person [Includes accommodation at a four-star hotel in Hong Kong from August 20 to 24 (two people per room, four nights from the 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd), and meals during this period (including breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the 21st, breakfast on the 22nd and the closing ceremony banquet, breakfast on the 23rd, and breakfast on the 24th. Self-service meals on the 20th for check-in, self-service lunch on the 22nd for free activities, and self-service dinner on the 23rd for free activities). Round-trip transportation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, or transportation to and from Hong Kong Airport or West Kowloon MTR Station, and all transportation services during the competition].
7. For children in group A (11 years old and under) or participants accompanied by their parents who have participated in the competition and have paid the comprehensive service fee for food, accommodation and travel, if they voluntarily request to share a bed (i.e., two people sleep in one bed), one person will pay full price and the other person will enjoy a special rate of RMB 2,880.
8. The difference between the price of a single room is 2 8 80 yuan
9. Accompanying Referee Expenses: RMB 2,600 per person. To apply for referee qualifications, one must hold a national second-level or higher referee certificate and have extensive refereeing experience; the organizing committee will uniformly process Hong Kong work visas (the visa application process takes about 3 months, with the deadline being May 30,202 5); to facilitate the application for a work visa to Hong Kong, no compensation will be provided for this competition. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the standards for national staff, and any expenses exceeding these standards will be borne by the participants.
(2) The charging standard for non-accommodation personnel at the conference:
1. Registration fee: RMB 380 per person (including the leader, coach, athlete and all the personnel who register for the conference with the team).
2. Conference fee: 180 RMB per person (those who do not participate in the competition do not need to pay the conference fee).
3. Single practice and team practice fees: RMB 380 per person for each item (at least two items must be reported for those who do not accompany the conference).
4. Collective project fee: RMB 200 per person for each item.
5. Martial arts sanda competition fee: RMB 480 per person for each item.
6. Banquet fee: RMB 4 80 per person (to be paid by those who attend the closing award banquet).
(3) Teams that stay in Hong Kong for tourism and shopping after the competition can contact the organizing committee when registering. The organizing committee will meet all the requirements of the teams and the costs will be borne by themselves (contact number: 13423906906, see Attachment 10 for details).
13. Registration and registration:
(1) Deadline for registration: before 24:00 on July 20,202 5 (must be express delivery).
(2) The following materials must be prepared when applying (the application shall be deemed invalid if any of them is missing):
1. Application form (Annex 9) must be printed by computer in a unified format (online applicants should download and print the application form after registration), and the application form must be signed or stamped;
2. Registration fee calculation form (Annex 10) (Online registrants must download and print the registration fee calculation form after registration);
3. Copy of ID card, or copy of household registration book, or copy of passport or Hong Kong and Macao pass (choose one of them);
4. Safety Responsibility Statement (Annex 6);
5. Copy of remittance document (all fees required for participation);
(3) This competition encourages direct online registration at the official website "I Love Martial Arts" (http://www.5u5s.com). Any team that registers through the online system can modify their registration details before the deadline; however, no changes can be made after the deadline. Teams that register online must submit the following materials to the organizing committee within 2 days after the deadline: (1) a copy of identification (ID card, household registration book, passport, etc., any one of these); (2) the "Responsibility Statement" (Annex 8); (3) copies of payment receipts for registration fees, conference fees, event fees, and comprehensive service fees for accommodation and travel;
Both online registration and mail registration are confirmed as "registration successful" after the payment of all competition fees.
(4) Processing of changes to registration content:
After submitting the application form, if any changes are required due to special circumstances, a written request must be submitted by August 3, 202 5. Regardless of whether the application deadline has passed, the corresponding handling fee must be paid. The handling fee for each change (including item number, routine name, name, gender, age group, etc.) is RMB 200.
(5) Handling of withdrawal: Before 24:00 on August 3, 202 5, participants who cannot attend the competition due to certain reasons can apply in writing and provide proof from a county-level hospital or above. The organizing committee will refund 60% of the entry fee. However, for those who cannot attend after this date due to certain reasons, no refund will be given for any fees.
(6) About 10 days before the competition, the official website will publish the competition schedule and the order of competition items. Please pay attention to the online information. The website is: http://www.hkwushuschool.com And http://www.5u5s.com.
(7) Each team will report to Hong Kong on August 20,202 5. 14. Arbitration Committee and Referees:
