The Newest Paticipators Guidelines

Rules for participation  
I. Precautions before departure
(1) Bring your own medicine.
(2) The temperature in Hong Kong is about 25℃ to 35℃, please bring appropriate clothes and rain gear.
(3) Hong Kongs public transport is very convenient. There are many kinds of transportation such as subway, railway, bus and taxi to shuttle between major areas.
(4) If the participating team participates in the group project, please bring your own U disk and put it in the envelope. List the team name and the project on the envelope. Submit it to the sound control center on the field half an hour before the competition starts. (Each U disk can only contain one music for the competition)
(5) Insurance: Participants shall purchase insurance by themselves.
(6) Guests and teams who stay at the designated hotels of the Conference are requested to check in at the designated hotels in Hong Kong from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on August 20,202 5 (details to be announced later).
(7) Teams who do not stay in the designated hotels for the conference are requested to report to the designated Hong Kong hotels from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. on August 20,202 5 (Wednesday) (details to be announced later), and collect the conference data and souvenirs at the same time.
(8) On August 22 (Friday), the teams attending the dinner arranged by the General Assembly are requested to gather in the lobby of the accommodation hotel. The time and place for gathering will be notified at check-in.

* Follow the team arranged by the conference for food and accommodation. The conference will hold a sign of "17th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition" at the airport passenger exit in each airport and checkpoint.

2. Hotel check-in information  
(1) After the participating teams arrive at the conference hotel, the team leader or relevant person in charge shall report to the hotel first. The team members shall be given conference items, including certificates, order booklets, athlete number plates, souvenirs and award certificates.
(2) Get up, have breakfast and get on the bus (with a ticket) at the designated time according to the schedule of the conference every day, without error, to ensure the smooth running of the conference (based on the time notified by the staff).
(3) Participants should pay attention to safety. Close the door when entering and leaving, and take good care of the keys, certificates, jewelry, money and valuables.
(4) abide by the hotel rules and regulations, take good care of all the facilities in the hotel, and compensate according to the hotel regulations if any damage is caused.
(5) The hotel room fee only includes the accommodation for each person, but does not include private consumption within the hotel (telephone, laundry, meals, drinks, etc.). You must settle the account according to the hotel regulations and pay it when you leave the hotel.
(6) Check in and check out on the pre-booked date. If you need to stay longer, please notify the contact office in time and pay the room rate according to the agreement between the conference and the hotel after obtaining the consent of the hotel.
(7) If you need to entrust the hotel luggage department to transport your luggage, you will pay the baggage tip yourself.
(8) If the hotel room fee has been booked and paid in full, no refund will be given if the guest fails to attend or withdraws from the hotel midway.
(9) The hotel accommodation arrangement shall be based on the allocation made by the organizing committee of the conference in advance. If there are single men and women in each team, the teams will be assigned rooms according to their opinions. If there are still single men and women who cannot be assigned rooms with other teams, they will be handled by adding beds.
(10) Smoking is prohibited in the lobby, corridors and rooms of the hotel. Please do not smoke in the no-smoking area. Violators will be fined HK $20 00. Please note that smoking is prohibited inside and outside the competition venue. Please do not smoke in the no-smoking area.
(11) According to the latest regulations of the Hong Kong Government, hotels do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath caps, razors, shampoo and shower gel
Please bring your own personal hygiene products. The hotel room will not provide free plastic bottle drinking water or kettle. The room will continue to provide free hot water. The power supply voltage in Hong Kong is 220V and the frequency is 50Hz. Use the British standard plug with three square prongs. When using electrical appliances or mobile phones for charging, you need to change the plug.
III. Competition Information
(i) The time for breakfast, the time for gathering in the hotel lobby and the time for departure to the venue on the day of the competition, August 21 (Thursday), will be announced on August 20 (Wednesday).
(2) Before setting off for the competition venue on August 21 (Thursday), each team must bring all necessary equipment (such as competition tools, personal medications, and clothing that needs to be changed). Since the accommodation hotel is some distance from the venue, any omissions may result in delays for retrieval; please take this seriously. The "Opening Ceremony" will be held at 11:00 AM on August 21. Please gather at the designated location after the morning session (around 10:30). Teams from foreign countries will represent their nations, while those from China will represent provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and special administrative regions. Each team should gather behind the guide signs of their respective units in numerical order, with representatives from each team carrying these signs to lead the way into the venue. During the entry ceremony, teams should wear their official uniforms and may carry their team flags, emblems, or sponsor logos (see attached map A for the route).

(4) On the day of the competition, all participating teams and athletes who arrive at the venue must first report to the registration office, which is set up in each venue. The registration office is located inside the competition venue.
(5) Athletes who perform solo events should attach the athlete code to the back of their competition clothes. When 2-4 athletes are on the field at the same time, they should follow the arrangement of the chief referee to start from the designated number position on the field to facilitate the correct confirmation of the athletes by the referee.
(6) Teams and athletes of each project shall report to the registration office 30 minutes before the start of the competition.
(7) Pay attention to the latest announcements and arrangements broadcast by the General Assembly at any time, and act in accordance with them.
(8) All participating teams and athletes shall abide by the competition rules and regulations of the conference.
(9) Competition venue.
The competition will be held in six venues (see attached map for venues 1-6).
1. Except for the athletes about to compete, all other non-competition personnel are not allowed to enter the venue. Only the athletes about to compete will be left in the inner field. All other non-competition members must sit in designated spectator seats to watch or rest. After the competition, please return to your seat voluntarily.
2. Only journalists wearing a "Press Card" are allowed to enter the main venue with their photography and video equipment for shooting and interviewing. However, they must not interfere with the competition or enter the playing area to take photos or videos. Flash photography is strictly prohibited during practice matches. Each team may take photos and videos from the audience seats but is not allowed to enter the main venue.
(Ten) On August 21 (Thursday), athletes who have paid for their lunch at the competition venue can collect their meal boxes and dine at designated locations on that day. The lunch meal box distribution time is (12:00-14:00). Dinner reception arrangements will be made separately. Each teams representative should collect the meal box with the number in the lower right corner of the award certificate, or they will not be served.
(11) Due to the administrative and insurance restrictions of the venue, all participating teams are strictly prohibited from practicing and warming up outside the venue. They can only practice and warm up in a specific warming-up area within the venue. Violators will be responsible for their own responsibility and may be disqualified (the participation fee will not be refunded).

IV. Award Information
 (1) The grand closing and award ceremony banquet for this competition will be held at 7 PM on August 22 (Friday). At the banquet, cash prizes, trophies, medals, and certificates will be awarded to the top three teams that win the overall team award; to the top three teams that win the overall all-around team award; and to the first-place athletes in Groups A-F who win the mens and womens all-around awards. Please ensure that all awardees and their representatives arrive on time and wait at the side of the stage for the presentation. Those who have won the all-around championship should prepare for the final of the evening banquet.
(2) All individuals who win the mens and womens all-around championships in their respective age groups must participate in the closing banquet to compete for the "King of Kings" grand prize. The winners will be directly voted on by the guests at the banquet to determine the "King of Kings" of this tournament. The organizing committee will present the "Seventeenth Hong Kong International Wushu Competition King of Kings Grand Prize" on-site, along with cash prizes, trophies, medals, certificates of honor, and the "Wu Ying Award."
(3) Except for the awards presented at the closing ceremony, all other awards will be collected at the awarding place of the venue. The venue is equipped with an awarding platform for each team to take photos.
Awards for individual events, sparring, combat sports, team events, opening ceremony performances, and the top 4 to 8 places in overall team awards, as well as the top 2 to 6 places in mens and womens all-around events for each age group, can be collected at the designated award ceremony location with the teams award certificate and the recipients ID card (or Hong Kong and Macao pass, or passport). The recipient should sign the collection form.
(4) Award time:
The individual awards will be awarded from 12:00 on August 21 to 30 minutes after the end of all the matches.
Before the banquet on August 2, 2002, all the awards (except those to be awarded during the banquet) that have not been collected should be collected at the designated place of the banquet hotel. After that, they will be deemed as automatically abandoned. If you need the organizing committee of the conference to mail them on your behalf, please fill in the mailing application form at the competition department and pay the mailing fee by yourself.
 If there is a tie for the "All-Round Grand Prize", please pay attention to the broadcast notice of the conference and draw lots at the Competition Information Center. If you are not present, you will be treated as abstaining.
(五)  The Global Development of Martial Arts Contribution Award, the Martial Arts Child Award and the Martial Arts Elderly Award will be presented at the opening ceremony. Please send representatives from the winning teams to wait on one side of the podium before the opening ceremony to receive the awards.
